WHAT'S FAIR IS FUN
It’s critical to us at DraftKings that everyone has fun.
DraftKings takes its commitment to a fair and fun playing experience seriously by prohibiting anything that goes against our rules. We encourage players to submit any evidence of unfair play they come across. In the event you believe you have witnessed or been the victim of unfair play, or in the event you suspect that another player or players may be engaging in behavior that you feel negatively impacts the integrity of our games, please contact us at GameIntegrity@DraftKings.com.
Our poker integrity investigators are committed to reviewing all player-submitted concerns. Although we cannot comment on the results of a review, we want you to know that DraftKings is committed to investigating any instance of possible unfair play that is flagged.
A Fair Playing Field For All: General Account Rules of Play
NO MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS
1 player = 1 account. To keep things accountable, competitive, and fair, players are only allowed to have one DraftKings account. You can trust DraftKings to monitor player accounts to maintain our strict "one account per user" policy.
NO EMPLOYEES
DraftKings employees are not your opponents. When you open a table in the DraftKings Poker Room, you don’t have to worry about going up against DraftKings employees. It’s just you vs. other poker players whose identities have been verified.
INTEGRITY AND FAIRNESS OF POKER GAMES
DraftKings uses data science tools and analytics to detect unpermitted behaviors as defined within the Terms of Service. Everyone at DraftKings takes the integrity and fairness of our poker games very seriously, and that is why we work hard to both proactively and reactively address unpermitted behaviors, inclusive of the possibility of restrictions from play in the poker room. In the event you suspect another player of engaging in a form of cheating or another unpermitted behavior defined within the Terms of Use or these Community Guidelines, please contact us at GameIntegrity@DraftKings.com.
Adherence to our Poker Community Guidelines ensures the fairness and integrity of our poker games is maintained. As DraftKings poker evolves, we’ll continue to update and amend these guidelines to ensure all players receive a world-class poker experience that is fun and skillful!
COLLUSION AND CHEATING
Group play behavior designed to gain an unfair advantage over others, inclusive of collusive behaviors and any other forms of cheating are strictly forbidden in the poker room. This includes, but is not limited to, the sharing of hole cards with other players at the same table, or deliberately playing in any way that may benefit another player(s) in the same tournament or poker table.
AUTOMATED PLAYERS (BOTS)
The use of artificial intelligence, including, without limitation, "robots" or "bots" is strictly forbidden within the poker ecosystem offered by DraftKings. All actions and player decisions must be executed by the player directly through the DraftKings Poker interface without automation. For clarity, this does not apply to any automatic actions of the DraftKings Poker interface when a player is Sat Out due to being disconnected from the tournament or automatic checks or folds when the player's time bank expires. You should report any suspected use of "bots" by any other users to our Support Team.
THIRD-PARTY ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS
Players are prohibited from using any computer software or non-software-based system (for example, websites, spreadsheets, subscription services, or other electronic documents/physical materials) that may create an unfair advantage, as determined by DraftKings in its sole and absolute discretion. This includes any software or systems that provides players with advice, direction, or assistance on how to play in real-time, or any systems that enables you to access or compile information on other players beyond that which you could personally observe through your own gameplay.
CHIP-DUMPING
Intentionally losing, or attempting to intentionally lose a hand to transfer chips to another user, as determined by DraftKings in its sole and absolute discretion, is prohibited. Any evidence of a player engaging in this behavior, commonly referred to as “chip dumping”, will be subject to review. Further, in the event DraftKings determines that a player has engaged in chip dumping, DraftKings reserves the right to exercise any rights and remedies available under the Terms of Use, including terminating a player’s account.
FRAUDULENT BEHAVIOR
All players are prohibited from engaging in or attempting to engage in, fraudulent, unlawful, dishonest, or improper activity while using either the DraftKings Poker Room service or any of the other services, products, or facilities of DraftKings. This includes the opening of multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes, any attempted game manipulation, or the making of any fraudulent payment, including without limitation, fraudulent chargebacks or money laundering as determined by DraftKings in its sole and absolute discretion.
CONSEQUENCES OF UNPERMITTED BEHAVIORS
In addition to all other rights set out in the DraftKings Terms of Use, DraftKings, in its sole and absolute discretion may terminate a player’s account, immediately freeze or block access to any services offered by DraftKings, or prohibit the player from opening a new account if a player materially breaches any term of these agreements.
In addition, players that are found to have engaged in, or attempted to engage in, any unpermitted behaviors, including but not limited to collusive behaviors or other forms of cheating, chip dumping, fraudulent behavior, illegal gambling, the use or attempted use of real-time assistance tools designed to offer an unfair advantage, inclusive of artificial intelligence or "bots" while using the Poker services will result in enforcement actions that may include restriction and redistribution of poker winnings within your account, and disclosure of such information (including your identity) to any relevant financial institutions or authorities and/or any person or entity that has the legal right to such information.
